July Classes at CG

June was such a busy month at CG and July will be no different! The new class schedule is here and we have lots of new classes on the crafting menu. All the favorites are on the schedule, including Zentangle and Mosaics. Every Thursday will be Drop in & Craft, all day from noon-8 pm. Tons of $5 projects, great for kids to adults. New additions are basic hand sewing and freezer paper stenciling.

CG also offers private parties, great for birthdays, girl scout troupes, Mom/Girl Night Outs and more. Full list of classes available by appointment here. Group discounts are available, call the store at 216-226-4880 for more information.

Henna Workshop Friday, July 8th!

Have you ever wanted to learn the art of Henna? Did you miss the May workshop at CG? You are in luck because Arooj will be back at Crafty Goodness on Friday, July 8th teaching another Henna Workshop!

Learn to mix henna powder properly and create application cones. Basic techniques will be taught on holding the cones. You will see how beginners designs evolve into the most intricate and exquisite works of art with practice. Brief history of henna and its many purposes in various cultures will also be covered. Henna and design templates will be provided.

The class will be from 6-8 pm and the cost is only $35. A fun girls night out! Let's have some wine too, why not? Sign up sheet here, or stop at the store.

Street Sale Starts Thursday, June 23rd!

Summer is finally here so that means sidewalk sales! The City of Lakewood will be having their second annual city-wide sale starting this Thursday. Sale runs from June 23rd-June 25th from 10 am-5 pm. Tons of businesses will be participating all over Detroit and Madison. Crafty Goodness is excited to participate, so be sure to stop by for all the fun events we have planned.

All three days: Stop by and enter our raffle for a chance to win a gift basket chock full o' crafty goodness! Plus tons of specials, $5 and under.

Thursday: Drop in and Craft all day long. Tons of projects for kids to adults for only $5 each.

Saturday: The Cleveland Craft Coalition will be here for our first ever Junk in the Trunk Show. We already feature the art of over 10 CCC artists and will be including some new crafters for the event.

Lolly the Trolley will also be offering free rides between the businesses, plus a scavenger hunt! You can read more info about it here.

Drop In & Craft Thursdays!

A new addition to the Crafty Goodness class roster is Drop In & Craft Thursdays! Stop in anytime between noon and 7 pm for tons of projects. Each will take 30 minutes or less and cost only $5 each. All ages are welcome and no appointment or registration necessary. Choose from:
